About Us

Our Active Inclusion Support Service offers a single
registration process for Learner Supports.

What we do

Our goal is to ensure that, as far as is reasonably possible, all learners are provided with the supports needed to successfully participate in their course.
To avail of our support during your studies, you will need to register with the Active Inclusion Support Service.

How to register

  • Speak to your guidance counsellor or course co-ordinator who will take you through the registration process.
  • Send us an email to learnersupport@lcetb.ie and we will send you a copy of the registration form, which you can complete and return to us.
  • Complete the online registration process by clicking on the REGISTER NOW button below, or call into your campus Learning Hub.

REGISTER NOW

You should consider registering if

  • You have a diagnosed disability, an on-going physical or mental health condition, or a learning difficulty and would like to access supports;
  • Your course requires you to Bring your Own Device (BYOD) and this causes a difficulty for you. Under the Device Equity Scheme, you may qualify for the loan of a device;
  • You need help with reading, writing, maths, study skills, computer skills or in improving your English language skills;
  • You would like to access career or educational advice and information;
  • You would like to access the confidential learner counselling service.

Next steps

Once you register, you will be contacted by a member of our team and invited to discuss your support requirements.
This process will involve:
  • Gathering some relevant background information about you as a learner;
  • Discussing the demands of your course and any technology needs;
  • Deciding on learning support and reasonable examination accommodations, where necessary;
  • Answering any questions you may have.

Counselling Service

MyMind works with you through your education and training journey to provide a range of counselling services. MyMind has over 100 counsellors and therapists who are qualified to help you. These services are available in 15 different languages. Talk to our support team about accessing the service. They will support you with the MyMind registration process.
